A Quick ‘Thank You’ from Bold Beasts

A quick word of gratitude from Bold Beasts author Rachel Braddock

As some of you will know, we at Bold Beasts attended the annual Summer Arts Market at Liverpool Cathedral this weekend. We just wanted to say how grateful we are to everyone who came and showed an interest in our stall, and especially those who bought books!

It was great to meet so many great new people, and to introduce them to the colourful world of Bold Beasts. What’s more, it was the first public outing of our new friend Delphine Dolphin! As we predicted, Delphine was very well-received, and is already a much-loved member of the Bold Beasts family.

The venue, as one would expect from such a grand cathedral, was nothing short of spectacular. For those who have never been to Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral, this photo I took at the event should give you some idea as to how grand a building it is. Bear in mind – this is only half of the building!

As you can see, the event was full of stalls from all kinds of wonderful independent businesses and craftspeople from all over the Northwest. We saw a few familiar faces on our travels, and there was definitely a very positive vibe around the place.

Here are some photos of our stall from throughout the day:

We were there from 10 in the morning until 6 in the evening, but as is so often the way with these things, the time seemed to pass incredibly quickly. It’s true what they say – time flies when you’re having fun.

Thank you once again to everyone who came to see us, and to the event staff for being so helpful, keeping everyone safe, and making everything run smoothly. We can’t wait to come back next time around.

Love,

Rachel and the Bold Beasts family x
